An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.
A toddler aged three was one of the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.
Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.
The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
